Backpack Blessing Ministry

In partnership with Moss Bluff Elementary, Moss Bluff Middle School and Gillis Elementary we provide food for families with school aged children who struggle with adequate nutrition on the weekends while out of school. You can contribute to this ministry by donating needed food items at church (list below), participating in bag packing workdays, delivering to our schools and/or making a financial donation directly to the ministry. Moss Bluff Thrift Shop

The Moss Bluff Thrift Shop is open and ready to welcome you. We host a sale every 1st Friday and Saturday from 7:30am-11:30am both days. All proceeds from our sales go to mission and ministry right here in our local community.

We are accepting donations during sale hours. Additionally, the Thrift Shop volunteers host a workday each Thursday from 8:30-10:00a.m. During this time block we are also accepting donations from the community. Thank you for your donations, we simply ask that you not leave anything outside of the Thrift Shop.

 

Westlake Food Pantry

We are excited about our renewed partnership with the wonderful folks at Westlake United Methodist Church through their food pantry ministry. You can participate in the mission of this ministry by donating non-perishable food items, donations are accepted at Moss Bluff UMC. Or you can volunteering you time to serve in the pantry for food deliveries or to unload shipments.
