Children's Ministry

Sunday School at 10am

Lil' Kids: (Ages 4 & 5) Meet in the Pre-School room (first room down the hall on the right) at 10am for a media-driven age-appropriate curriculum called "Lil' K". Led by Brandi Russell and a team of volunteers on a rotation, this 50 minute Christian education experience is filled with music, Bible lesson, and crafts based on a different theme every 5 weeks. Children can be picked up in the room at 10:50am before worship begins. They will return to this room during the Children's Church time in worship and can be picked up there at the end of the Cross & Flame service.

Children: (1st-4th Grades) Meet in the Children's room connected to the gym (across the parking lot - go in the door on the left). Children can be dropped off here and they will be brought to the foyer by 10:50 to be picked up before worship. Led by Allison Milliron and a team of adult volunteers on a rotation. The children are led through an interactive media-driven program called "Kidmo" which incorporates modern worship music, Bible lessons, & Scripture memorization ending in a friendly competition with prizes. The program continues during the Children's Church time with small-group discussions, games, prayer, and take-home materials. Points are tallied at the end of the series and rewards are given. Points are given for attendance, bringing your Bible, bringing a friend, good behavior, reciting memory verses, winning the team competition each week, and completing take-home materials.

Children's Church during the Sermon at 11:00 a.m. - At the Cross & Flame worship service at 11:00 a.m. children attend with their parents or guardians, and they are encouraged to participate in the time of praise. After singing we offer a prayer of blessing the children, then the Lil' Kids and Children go with their leaders to Children's Church for a fun, interactive Bible lesson. Children can be picked up in the Children's Room in the Community Center or in the Preschool room down the hall.

Fourth Sunday Family Fellowship - Families in our church with children 4th grade and under get together for friendship, fellowship, faith, and fun every FOURTH Sunday afternoon.
